Wedding:  Saxton & Carver

At the Emmanuel Hall, Thurnscoe, on Saturday, Pastor Richardson officiating, the wedding took place of Mr. James William Carver, Elm Road, Skellow, and Miss Eunice Saxton, Chapel Street, Thurnscoe.

The bride’s dress was saxe blue suede crepe de chine.

Her maids were Misses Elsie and Alice Saxton, Mabel Wright and Florence Buffon, wearing dresses of saxe blue and of pink silk. Two junior maids were Ethel Evans in salmon pink, and Doris Cave in saxe blue.  All the maids carried pink roses.

A reception was held in the Emmanuel Hall.
