A Thurnscoe Woman’s Choice – Hen Trouble
Mary Flanagan, Married, Thurnscoe, was required to answer two summonses at Doncaster on Saturday for assaulting a neighbouring named Lizzie Blunt, on the 10th and 11th inst.
A dispute arose through defendant’s hen getting into complainants fowl house and it ended in blows.
Defendant was ordered to be bound over for six months and to pay the costs, but she said she would prefer to go to prison.
