The marriage took place at Mexborough Parish Church on Tuesday, of Miss Ivy Pidd, only daughter of Mrs. Newey, 29, Herbert Street, Mexborough, and the late Mr. Pidd, to Mr. Richard Edward Clements, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Clements, 24, Common Road, Thurnscoe.

The Vicar of Mexborough, the Rev. E. H. P. Rawlins officiated. The bride wore white georgette and lace with wreath of white roses and veil tied with lovers’ knots. She carried bronze chrysanthemums.
