The wedding took place on December 19th at the Salvation Army Hall, High Wycombe, of Miss G. Baldwin, only daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Baldwin, 39, Booker Lane, High Wycombe and Mr. Lawrence Newton only son of Mr. and Mrs. Newton, 20, York street, Thurnscoe East.

Bridesmaids were Miss Carol Deacon, Ann Newton, Hazel Deacon and Maria Woodward.

Best man was Mr George Deacon. Both wore Salvation Army uniform.
