Mr. and Mrs. I. Hague, of School terrace, Thurnscoe, have received official intimation that their fourth son, Seaman J. Hague, of the Naval Division, who was reported missing in April, is now presumed killed.

Seaman Hague joined the Drake Division, and went out to the Dardanelles, where he was wounded in the head. He afterwards went to France.

He was well known in sporting circles. He played football for the Hickleton Main F.C., and was a well-known sprinter on the track.

He has also another brother in the Naval Division, who is on active service in France.

He worked at Hickleton Main Colliery before joining the Naval Division in January, 1915.
