To Stage

Thurnscoe by their presentation of the “The Pleasant Inn,” will be continuing a policy they began with their production of “Frieda”: bringing to the Dearne stage plays which had been popularised by film adaption.

They made “Frieda” an outstanding success, and I was glad to hear on Monday from the Society’s President – producer, Mr William Hardy (picture), that Mrs. Young, who gave a penetrating performance as “Frieda,” will have a prominent part in “The Pleasant Inn.”

This play has an unusual twist: the players gather in an hotel which had been destroyed by fire two years before!
