A Golden Jubilee Smile

Lord Halifax and Canon E. Whiting are caught by the camera in a happy mood during  Simon Whiting’s speech of thanks to parishioners on Thursday after Lord Halifax had presented him with a cheque on behalf of the village, to mark his fifty years of priesthood.

The ceremony took place in the dining, room of Hickleton Hall.
