Mr T Gregory, presided at the annual meeting of the Thurnscoe Vics Football Club, thanked the Supported Club for their work and hoped that they would continue, as it was a great asset to the club and without it they could not carry on.

The past season been a good one in five players have been transferred into senior football:

J Plover and F Osborne to Aston Villa, and G Tepper, A Bloomfield and F Westlake to Sheffield Wednesday.

The sum of £75 been received from Aston Villa and in the near future they would receive £100 from Sheffield Wednesday.

Several new players have been signed off next season but there were still vacancies to be filled, and the club was now a training ground for several League clubs.
