Cleaner Milk

February 1927

Mexborough and Swinton Times, February 18, 1927

A discussion took place at the Thurnscoe Urban Council meeting on Tuesday on the question of cleaner milk, and some interesting facts were given by the sanitary Inspector, Mr F.C.Brooks and the medical officer Dr R Malcolm.

The public, according to these official should demand cleaner milk, and complain to the milk dealer if it does not “keep” well.

Mr Brooke said that milk should keep for three days.

Milk treated in any haphazard manner, however, could not be expected to remain clean and to keep well.
