Congestion In Coalfield Relieved.

Even if settlement of the strike had not been effected, some South Yorkshire rite, notably Hickleton Main, had decided to resume work to-day, efforts having been made to relieve the huge stocks of coal at the sidings.

Yesterday full goods train coal was sent from Hickleton Main in the direction of Hull.

The train service the Great Central and L. and Y. railways to Barnsley was resumed this morning, and the Midland service was expected to start this evening.

The railwayman have all returned this morning.
