Festival Winners – Doreen Lynham
The other successful child was Doreen Lynham, who was placed first in the junior pianoforte class. She is only twelve and is the daughter of Mr, and ‘Mrs. Lynham, 47, Windsor Street.
The adjudicator’s comment on her performance was, “The most fluent so far, and with the widest range of expression.”
She has only been studying the piano fifteen months, but gained a success in the Mexboro’ Festval in October.
