For the Royal College

Mr Douglas Proudley, only son of Mr and Mrs T Proudley, 5 Tudor Street, Thurnscoe, has recently passed the final examination of the Royal Schools of Music for pianoforte playing and is now to enter the Royal College of Music to study for professional piano playing.

An old boy of Mexborough grammar school, Mr Proudley has been studying music for six years under Mr Joseph Harrington of Sandgate, Wath on Dearne, organist and choir master at Wombwell Parish Church.
