Two Boxers, Colin Marsden (left), a welterweight member of Hickleton Main A.B.C., and Tony Stubbs (right), a middleweight; member of Moorthorpe St. Joseph’s A.B.C., are seen with two officials at the start of their journey to Germany last Thursday, when they were in a team of 14 which represented Wakefield in a tournament with German boys.

The boxers returned home on Monday with mixed fortunes—Tong was disqualified in a contest at Aseld, near Hanover, on Saturday, and Colin (Thurnscoe) Won his contest.
