At Wath Council on Tuesday, plans were passed for the erection of sixteen houses.
Local railway facilities have been considerably curtailed owing to the great coal war.

The annual general meeting of the Denaby Cricket Club will be held at the Denaby Main Hotel tonight (Friday).

The miner’s houses at Darfield are severely criticised in a report just issued by the Medical Officer of Health, on the grounds of their insanitary condition and the fewness of their numbers.
During a most interesting lecture on Town Planning, given at the Bolton Free Library, the lecturer remarked that “there would be no need for parks in cities if Town – Planning was adopted, as every house will possess a Park of its own.”
The semi-final of the Montagu Hospital Cup was attended by an unfortunate accident to a Kilnhurst player named Hayward, was removed to the institution suffering from a broken ankle. This, we believe, is the first case admitted to the hospital directly arising from the Charity Cup competition.
