Modesty at Thurnscoe.

Mixed Bathing, but No Spectators.

Thurnscoe Urban Council at their meeting last night decided to allow mixed bathing at the Welfare Baths, which are under their supervision.

When the question of admitting spectators was raised. Mr. M. Nokes pointed out there were spectators to the mixed bathing the seaside.

The Chairman (Mr. A. Bramham): Many things happen at the seaside which do not happen at home.

Ii was decided that spectators should not admitted to the mixed bathing.
