More Drunks on Tuesday
There was an exceedingly light list on Tuesday.
For having been drunk and disorderly at Denaby on 15 April, Thomas Morgan, a Conisborough miner, and to pay 2/6 and costs and Martin Timman, a Bolton on Dearne minor for a similar offence at Bolton on the same day as 7/6 and costs to pay.
For using obscene language at Bolton on the 15th since, George Stannard, a pit hand of that place, had 5s and costs to pay.
A Denaby miner, named Benjamin Smith, for using obscene abusive language at Mexborough on 30 April was fine 5s and costs.
George Shaw, a filler, and William Buxton, a pit hand, both of Conisborough, for riding their bicycles without lights at Conisborough on the 12th inst had 2/6 and costs each to pay.
Patrick Ryan, a Thurnscoe East miner, for allowing his dog to be at large without having his name on the collar, was fined 2/6 and costs, and a similar penalty was inflicted in the case of John Phipps, a Denaby miner, was summoned for not having his dog under proper control on the night of 10 April
