20—Mr. Tom Hague (52), of formerly of Mexborough, a well-known musician.

27—Mr. Samuel Marshall, of Swinton (80), formerly headmaster of the Eastwood Church Schools. Rotherham, and more recently Divisional Clerk at Swinton, under the West Riding Education Committals.

2—Mr. Alfred Rose (53), enginewright at the Denaby Main Colliery.

4–Mr. W R Dale (55). of Messrs. Dale Brown and Co . Ltd., glass bottle manufactures, of Swinton, a founder and Past President of the Mexborough Rotary Club.

18—Mr. John Stacey (64), of Conisborough an official of the Denaby and Cadeby Collieries and a noted amateur musician.

26—Mr. Angus McLachlan (53), of Roman Terrace, a member of the Swinton Urban Council.
