George W, Green (17), haulage hand, Thurnscoe, was fined £2 at Doncaster, on Saturday, for having had no lights on a horse drawn vehicle during the black-out.

Mexborough.

At Doncaster, on Saturday, Arnold Thompson (36), concrete mixer, Mexborough, was fined £1 for having been drunk and disorderly, Bail of 12 was also entreated for having failed to appear to answer the charge on the proper date.

Bolton.

Frederick Lockwood, miner, Bolton, was fined – 15s, at Barnsley on Monday for driving a motor car with the lights not properly screened.

Goldthorpe.

Driving a motor car at Haigh with the aide lights not properly screened, cost George H, Shaw, grocer, Goldthorpe, 10s, at Barnsley on Monday.
