Presentation of Standard Lamp

Past and present staff at the Hill Senior Boys School, Thurnscoe, presenting a standard lamp to Mr O.W. Firth, headmaster, who after seven years at Thurnscoe is leaving to become headmaster at the new Goole senior school.
The presentation was made at a supper on Friday, after an exhibition of work at the Thurnscoe Evening Institute.
