Proud Record.
Wath Grammar School has a record of which it is proud and which, it is believed, is without equal in any secondary or grammar school in the district.
The, school has no fewer than three old boys who have been awarded the! Distinguished Flying Medal. The three men are Sergt. Pilot Cecil Unwin (who was recently awarded a bar to the D.F.M.), Sergt. H. Wathey and Sergt. Wilfred Scarrott.
The first two live at Bolton and Sergt. Scarrott at Thurnscoe
