Parishioners of St. Helen’s Parish Church, Thurnscoe, last Thursday affectionately presented 15 farewell gifts to their Rector, the Rev. D. E. Hughes, who is leaving the parish after  years’ service for retirement in Brighton. Making the presentation is Mr W. Hardy, people’s warden.
