Seaman Jones was killed in France on Nov. 24, 1917.

He was formerly a miner at Hickleton Main, and joined the Naval Division in Dec 1914. He was wounded in Gallipoli before going to France in June, 1917.

He made his home with Mr. and Miss J. Lund, Church St., Thurnscoe, and was shortly to have been married to Miss Lund.
