Thurnscoe Military Medallist.

Bdr J. Gough (R.G.A.), son of Mrs.Dewhirst, Church St., Thurnscoe has been awarded the Military Medal.

He has been serving two years, and has been in France seventeen months. The award is for gallantry and devotion to duty.

Before enlistment Bdr Gough was in the postal service, and drove the mail between Thurnscoe and Rotherham.
