Soldier – Heal E.F.– Shrapnel Wounds in Leg and Arm

Second Lieutenant Heal, Lorne Villas, Thurnscoe, who, as briefly announced last week, had been wounded in action in France, is now in hospital in Newcastle.

He has received two shrapnel wounds in the leg and one in the arm.

Before being wounded he had twice narrowly escaped serious injury from shells which burst near him.
