Private F Laynes (Lincolns)

Mrs Laynes, of 71 Church Street, Thurnscoe, has received information that her husband, Private F Laynes, of the Lincolns, was killed in action on July 2nd. He was a reservist, and went to France in August 1915. He was badly wounded at La Basee in November 1914. After some months I England he went out again and was wounded a second time. His third visit to France has proved fatal.

He leaves a wife and two children.

He formerly worked at Goldthorpe Colliery.
