Mr. and Mrs. Tucker, of Chapel street, Thurnscoe, have received official information that their son, Corpl. J. Tucker, of the 4th Worcesters, was killed in action in France on Nov, 17, 1917.

Corporal Tucker had seen some heavy fighting, and had once been wounded. He returned to France about three months ago.

He was a miner, and. worked at the Grimethorpe Colliery. He joined the Army in Sept., 1914.
