South Kirkby 5 Thurnscoe  United 2

A strong wind, which blew diagonally, interfered with play.

Thurnscoe, with the wind, scored first through Formeston. Blower  equalised. Formeston added a second for Thurnscoe, but before half-time Blower put South  Kirkby ahead.

Resuming, South Kirkby pressed continually. Blower scored fourth goal, and a fifth came from a melee.

Result:  SOUTH KIRKBY . – 5 goals,  Thurnscoe United 2 goals
