Thurnscoe Couple’s Differences.

The Doncaster magistrates on Saturday adjourned for a fortnight a case in which Dorothy Postlethwaite, of 16, Pear Tree Avenue Thurnscoe, summoned her husband, William Postlethwaite, miner, Thurnscoe, for wife desertion, in order to give the young couple a chance of getting together again.

The defendant expressed his willingness to have his wife back, and said they could live at his brother’s whereupon the Chairman (Mr. Mark Nokes), exclaimed that he must not take her there.

They should live away from relations altogether and he must find a house.
