Thurnscoe Gardeners.
A new association has been formed at Thurnscoe which promises to have successful career, the objects of which are to promote interest in gardening, the keeping of poultry and rabbits, and the provision of allotments, to promote cooperative action in obtaining the necessaries required, to protect the members and gardens from trespass, damage and theft, and for the mutual advancement and education the members in the matters referred to.
The first officials are; President, the Rev. J. E. Revington (Rector); secretary, Mr. L. Dyson : treasurer, Mr. A. Bramshaw; committee, Messrs. T. Marsh, H. Goldthorpe, G. A. Taylor, S. Clough, J. Crossley, A. Singleton, H. Carr, A. Senior, J. Ingamels. and H. Bailey.
A very encouraging response in members has already been obtained.
