Thurnscoe Man’s Removal of Goods.

At Doncaster on Saturday, W. F. Cunningham, miner, of Thurnscoe, was summoned for having removed his goods from a house while owing £8         14s 6d in rent.

Vincent Hann-Smith, of Bessacarr, Doncaster, agent for his father, owner of the house, said the defendant was tenant of 7, George Street, Thurnscoe, and left about March 2nd, owing £13 14s. 6d. in rent. The weekly rent was 11s., and Cunningham was now living in a house for which the rent was 11s. 3d.

Cunningham, who said his wife gave notice, was ordered to pay 3s. 6d weekly towards the arrears.

Railway Trespass.

Two Thurnscoe miners, John Robinson Hamilton, and Shirley Hill, who did not appear were fined 15s. each at Doncaster on Saturday for having trespassed on the railway at Thumscoe.
