Thurnscoe Man’s Throat Cut.

Supposed Suicide.

Yesterday afternoon, at about 9-20, John Conway. of Westfield Crescent, Thurnecoe, was found in his home with his throat cut.

Dr. Malcolm was called in, but before he could reach the house the man was dead.

Conway, who was a married man, was employed by the Thurnscoe Urban Council as a lamplighter. He was an en-Service man, and during the war received a severe wound. Of late be has been suffering from depression.

An inquest will be held to day.
