Thurnscoe Men Remanded.

A disturbance took place at Thurnscoe on Saturday night and at Doncaster on Monday, William Glease, a miner, was charged with having unlawfully wounded Police-constable Clark and with having been drunk and disorderly, and Thomas Glease, Philip Cadman, Peter Hampson and Charles Glease, miners, were charged with having assaulted the police amid with having been drunk and disorderly.

Two of the prisoners appeared in court with their heads in bandages.

Defendants were remanded for a week, bail being allowed.
