Thurnscoe Miner Killed

A Thurnscoe miner, who was working his second shift following period of unemployment, was killed at the Goldthorpe Main Colliery, near Mexborough, yesterday afternoon.

He was Norris Clark (26), of Edward Street, Thurnscoe.

He was hit by a falling piece of stone weighing nearly half a ton.
