Thurnscoe Treat

Through the auspices of Thurnscoe branch of National Unemployed Workers’ Movement, 200 children of the members enjoyed a Christmas treat yesterday.

A tea was provided at the Parish Hall, followed by a concert.

Afterwards, each child received a bag containing an apple, an orange and sweets.
