At the annual meeting it was decided to make application for admission next season to the Sheffield Assocation League.
Permission has been given to the club to play in the field adjoining the Hickleton Mam Cricket Club ground, and to make it his first great playing area levelling and draining work is being done at a cost of about £7O. Towards this expense the this T. T. Taylor has promised £10 and the Honourable. E. Wood £5. This the name of the organisation is to be altered to Hickleton Main Football Club, Mr W Wilde (managing director at the colliery) has been elected president, Mr W Brookes secretary, Mr A Noakes financial secretary.
