Lopham Unlucky At Thurnscoe

Thurnsroe Vies, were fortunate gain a victory over Lopham with the only goal ol the match, for Lopham missed several good chances of equalising in the latter stages ol the game.
Lopham had the advantage of a strong wind in the first half; but Aveyard, the Viec.’ centre-forward, sent two shots over the bar in the first five minutes.
Moss for Lopham shot inches wide. The Vics, fully deserved the lead when Wroe beat Godley from «lose range after 37 minutes.
The second half was the opposite of the first. Lopham doing most of the attacking. They were unlucky early on when a shot from Allen hit the upright.
