Thurnscoe’s Welfare Centre.

A maternity and child welfare centre has been established at Thurnscoe in connection with the County Council’s scheme.

The attendance of mothers with their children has been very gratifying, and much interest is taken in the addresses and instruction given.

Doctor Malcolm, the township Medical Officer, is in attendance and he has the assistance of a trained nurse and other helpers.
