Tragic Death at a Thurnscoe Hotel

William Beevers (61), residing at 31 Orchard St, Thurnscoe, went into the Butchers Arms, Thurnscoe, yesterday morning, ordered a glass of rum, and, after exchanging greetings with a colleague, and before partaking of his drink, suddenly fell and expired.

Dr Duncan, who was in immediately called in, certified death to be due to heart failure, and therefore no inquest is necessary.
