Trespassing in Pursuit of Game

At Barnsley, yesterday, three young Thurnscoe miners—William Cunliffe, Thomas Cunliffe, and Walter Jackson —pleaded guilty to trespassing in pursuit of game on land at Billingley.

They were fined £5 each for game trespass, and for assaulting Edward Batley, farmer, the Cunliffes were ordered to pay £2 each.
