Twenty Two Houses for £19,200.

The Thurnscoe District Council have accepted tender for the erection of twenty-two houses at cost of £19.200, and these are to be erected in Beck Lane, Thurnscoe.

It was stated that when these houses are erected the present water supply will insufficient, and the Rev. T. T. Taylor offered the whole of his land in Clayton Lane for boring experiments.
