The wedding took place at Goldthorpe Old Church on Monday of Mr. Henry Parker, son of Mrs. L. Parker, 6, Clarence Terrace,Thurnscoe East, and Miss Winifred Groves, daughter of Mr. J. H. Groves, 23, Haigh Lane, Goldthorpe.

Attired in white satin and carrying daffodils, the bride was given away by her father. She was attended by Misses Dolly Groves, June Groves and Eva Williamson.

Mr. H. Bruce was best man and Mr. A. Williamson groomsman.
