Wednesday Signings

Sheffield Wednesday yesterday signed on as professional, a couple of amateurs  who have earned their spurs in Wednesday ‘s Yorkshire League matches.

Walter Aveyard who hails from Thurnscoe has scored 12 goals in 11 matches from the centre-forward position in the “A” team.

Aveyard is 20 years of age, stands 5 feet 10 ½ inches and weighs 10 st 7 lbs.
