A/c. Charles F. Ward (27), second son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Ward, of 25, Westfield Crescent, is married, and his home address Is 83. High Street, Thurnscoe. He joined the Air Force twelve months ago, and is serving in the North.

He was educated at Thurnscoe Council Schools and was employed at Thurnscoe Branch of the Barnsley British Co-operative Society Drapery Department, and later was transferred as assistant manager to the Highgate Branch Furnishing Department. He looks forward to receiving the “South Yorkshire Times ” every week.
