ROCKINGHAM SHAPE BADLY

COMFORTABLE WIN FOR HICKLETON

Rockingham made their first home appearance on Saturday the visitors being Hickleton. Their performance was far from encouraging and the visitors won by 8 wickets. The only Rockingham batsmen to show anything like form were Ivill (13) and Bramley (24). The latter gave a brilliant display against good bowling. The side, thanks to the fine bowling of Turner, were all out for 64. Turner who bowled throughout had 7 for 23. Hickleton lost Overton and C. Proberts cheaply, Fenton claiming both wickets for 11 runs. Senior and Riley however, made a stand and Rockingham’s total was passed without further loss.
