Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Eeet of 20, Stuart Street, Thurnscoe East, have now received official information that their youngest son A/E Jack Eeet, Royal Navy, who was posted missing on April 8th is now presumed to have been killed by enemy action on March 30th.

Jack, who was 20, joined the Navy nearly two years ago.

He was educated at the Hill Modern School, and before enlistment was employed at Hopkinsonā€™s, Thurnscoe East.
