Driver F. L. Hopwood, only son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Hopwood, of 1. Manor Square, Thurnscoe, has been serving with the R.A.S.C. since February. 1910. He was drafted overseas in 1911, and is now serving in the Western Desert.

Driver Hopwood, who is 24, was previously employed at a Thurnscoe Store for nearly eight years. He looks forward to receiving the “South Yorkshire Times.” and the paper is eagerly read by his pals.
