Cheerful Gunner

Gunner Jack Jameson, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. 11. Jameson, of 24, Windsor Street, Thurnscoe East, who is 18, joined H.M. Forces in July, 1939.

He is attached to the Royal Artillery and is at present engaged on coastal defence work. He is in excellent health and enjoying Army life and hopes to make it his career.

He writes cheerful letters and is a regular reader of the “South Yorkshire Times.”

Before joining up he was employed by the Globe Tea Company, Goldthorpe.
