Private Ronald Lancaster, of the Black Watch, volunteered six months ago.

Second son of Mr. Mrs. R. Lancaster, of 54, Norman Street, Thurnscoe East, he was employed underground at Hickleton Main Colliery before enlistment.

He likes Army life very much. At present he is serving In Scotland. He and his pals up there look forward every week to the “Times.”
