Army Athlete

Edward Victor Rowe, of Windsor Street, Thurnscoe East, is at present in Gibraltar. An old pupil at Thurnscoe Hill School, he played football for the school and for Dearne Valley boys, and during his Army career has won three cups for football, and three for athletics.

He has been in the Army four years and gets the “Times” regularly each week. He is enjoying Army life.
