Three Thurnscoe brothers now in the Army are sons of Mrs. A. Blackburn and the late Mr. W. Blackburn, 7. John Street. Thurnscoe.

Pte. Harold Blackburn (46), is serving in the A.M.P.C. He enlisted 12 months ago and served during the last war.

Gunner Horace Blackburn (30), in the (anti-aircraft section). He has been in the army for nine months.

Walter Blackburn, youngest of the family is 26, and serving as a cook in Royal Inskillings. He has been in the Army just over 12 months. He was formerly a butcher.
